Policies / Terms of Service

These policies are in place to help us deliver exceptional service to ALL our clients every visit. Please read through them.

1. Hours of Operations

Phone Hours: We are available by phone Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. If we do not answer, leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible. In the case of an emergency or you need to cancel a service you may call or text at any time.

Cleaning Hours: We are available for cleaning Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with our last clean of the day scheduled no later than 4:00 PM. We do offer cleanings before and after parties any day of the week, but these need to be scheduled in advance for availability.

Holidays: We observe New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. When December 31st fall on a weekday (M-F), we will close at 12:00 PM.

2. Payment Policy

Payments are due at time of service. Bubble Bee Cleaning, LLC accepts the following payment methods: cash, check, Venmo (@Rachel-Hartman-41) or PayPal (@raehart20).

Returned Check Fee: If a check is returned for NSF, there will be an additional charge of $35.00 and services may be suspended until full payment has been received.

Late Fee: Overdue payments are subject to a late fee of $30.00. In addition, interest may be charged at the rate of twelve percent (12%) per month on all overdue amounts. Bubble Bee Cleaning, LLC reserves all rights available under Indiana law to collect any amounts due and owing pursuant to this agreement. Client shall also be responsible for all costs of collection (including attorneys’ fees) to collect overdue amounts.

Late Cancellation Fee: If a cleaning appointment is cancelled after 5 pm on the day prior to your scheduled appointment (Monday appointment must be cancelled by 5 pm on the preceding Friday), a cancellation fee of $50.00 will be charged.

Lock Out Fee: If the cleaner is unable to enter the house, a cancellation fee of 50% of that cleaning’s cost will be charged.

3. Cancellations/Rescheduling

Service reliability is extremely important to both client and cleaner. We will turn down business to not disrupt your regularly scheduled cleaning. Please show the same respect.

To cancel or reschedule without penalty, please contact us before 5 pm on the business day prior to your appointment (Monday clients must provide notice before 5 pm on the preceding Friday). A $50.00 fee is automatically charged for a late cancellation or late rescheduling.

We understand that circumstances arise that require a cancellation, but if a client has excessive cancellations, we reserve the right to canceling all future cleanings.

4. Inclement Weather or Sickness

On the rare occasion that Bubble Bee Cleaning must reschedule an appointment  due to personal illness, family emergency or inclement weather, we’ll do our best to reschedule to the earliest available appointment. This is something we will only do in extreme circumstances and try to avoid as much as possible.

5. Access to Your Home

We will make every effort to arrive to your house in a timely manner. Because of possible cancellations or prior cleans running longer than expected, we cannot guarantee a specific time.  Our team require timely access to your home to perform our job. If you choose to meet the team for access to your home, we will offer you a time slot. Circumstances beyond our control such as traffic, weather, or team illness may affect our arrival time. Your flexibility and understanding in these situations is greatly appreciated.  We will always do our best to keep you informed of any delays we may be experiencing.

We believe the best way to serve you is for you to issue us a garage door code or a house key. Your key is coded with a number, it is never associated with your street address, and is kept in a locked secure key box. You garage door code is also coded with a number and kept in a locked file system.

Lock Outs: If we arrive to your home and must leave without cleaning for any reason due to the client (lack of access to the house, scheduling conflict, etc.), you could be charged 50% of your regular cleaning cost. By holding your spot but not completing the clean, we could have offered that slot to another house. Most of our customers do entrust us with a key to their home, a responsibility we take very seriously.

6. First Cleaning

We do ask that someone is home for our first cleaning so we can be introduced to the home and confirm the service agreement in person. This also allows us to confirm the final cost of the cleaning as the initial quote is an estimate. Some home conditions require additional costs to get the home to our cleanliness standard.

7. Pets

We are pet friendly! We are happy to have the family pets continue their normal patrols of the house while we clean. We all know there are certain pet personalities that require pets to be restricted while unfamiliar people are present. We want to respect your pet’s space and comfort as well, so if your pet does not do well with people present, please do everyone a kindness and create a safe space by restricting your pet to a room that is not being cleaned.

8. Syringes

Should any member of your household require the use of syringes, please ensure that they are disposed of safely. Any secure container like a coffee can, can be used to store used syringes and/or needles prior to final disposal.  Any unexpected stab by an insecure needle can pose serious health concerns to our team.

9. Hygiene Products

Please dispose of bodily fluid hygiene products appropriately. Please wrap up in paper/tissues and toss in a lined canister for easy disposal. We wear gloves to protect ourselves, but we will not be picking up any that maybe lying on the floor. (It’s happened!)

10. Damage or Breakage

We make every effort to take the greatest care while in your home, but we understand accidents happen. Identical replacement is always attempted but cannot be guaranteed. We request that all valuable, irreplaceable, collectible, or heirloom items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valued) be stored and/or not cleaned by our team. Damaged or broken items must be reported to the Bubble Bee Cleaning office within 48 hours of service.  Note: Bubble Bee Cleaning is not responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item. All surfaces (e.g., marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to be cleaned without causing harm.

11. Limitations / Disclaimers

Safety is very important to Bubble Bee Cleaning. Due to insurance policies, we Bubble Bee Cleaning recognizes the following:

  1. We do not climb higher than a 3-step ladder
  2. We do not move furniture or move anything heavier then 35lbs but will try to reach a visible place with an extension duster and or vacuum.
  3. If an area in the home is considered or has the potential to be considered a biohazard, that are will not be cleaned. (Including but not limited to: Vomit, blood, human/ animal excrement, bodily fluids, emptying/ cleaning cat litter boxes)

These types of activities put the cleaner at risk of an injury or infection. We are also unable to wash exterior windows or clean carpets; however, we can gladly refer you to a professional.

If you would like us to clean behind appliances like a refrigerator, oven or large sofa, please move it prior to the cleaning to allow access to the desired area.

If the cleaner feels that her personal safety is in danger (someone in the home is intoxicated, vicious animal not contained, etc.), and the cleaner leaves the job site, the client is still responsible for the full cost of the job. We will attempt to reach you by phone if this situation should arise.

It is to the client’s advantage to have the home picked up as much as possible allowing us to be able to get to all areas so that we can optimize your cleaning. At Bubble Bee Cleaning, we provide light straightening of the areas that we clean. If such areas/surfaces are cluttered at the time of cleaning, our cleaner will clean around those areas and you will be notified.

Our team provides the cleaning supplies automatically for all cleaning services. If you prefer we use cleaning supplies that you provide, we can do this but costs are not affected and your supplies may limit what we are able to clean.

12. Privacy & Confidentiality

Bubble Bee Cleaning will not share any of your personal information with anyone.  To protect our cleaners and your privacy, please be sure that any confidential or potentially illegal documents or substances are put away before your scheduled cleaning.

13. Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee satisfaction on all of our cleaning services. Any necessary adjustments must be reported to us within 24 hours of the cleaning date for resolution.

Privacy Policy

What information do we collect on our site, and how do we use it?

We collect only the consumer’s domain name (where possible), aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit on our site, and information volunteered by the consumer – such as survey information and/or site registrations, name and address, telephone number and the email addresses of those who fill out the estimate form.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our website, customize the content and/or layout of our web pages for each individual visitor, and used to create service estimates.

With respect to cookies: We use cookies to store visitor’s preferences, and record past activity on our site in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site. We also sometimes use cookies to deliver targeted ads to past visitors of the site on 3rd party vendor sites such as www.google.com. To opt out of these ads please visit your browser’s ad preferences manager.

With respect to security: We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.

Opt-In: Submitting an estimate request and/or calling Bubble Bee Cleaning to request an estimate are treated as an opt-in to receive service related follow up and information from Bubble Bee Cleaning.

If you supply us with your email address you will only receive communications related to Bubble Bee Cleaning related service and product offerings.

If you supply us with your postal address you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on promotions, services or upcoming events.

If you supply us with your telephone number you will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding requested services.

If you supply us with your mobile telephone number you will only receive texts from us once you have become a Bubble Bee Cleaning customer

Opt-Out: How do you opt-out of receiving future communications?

If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by contacting us by phone or email. You may also unsubscribe to future emails by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained within e-mails you receive.
